Open for the season: Farmer’s Market


Warmer weather is here & folks are starting to think about their spring gardens, summer plans, and farmer’s markets!  The Lake Norman area has quite a few market options available this spring:

Davidson Farmer’s Market:  The Davidson Farmer’s Market opens for it’s full season on April 6th.  It will be open every Saturday until the fall.  The market is open from 8am-12pm and features all local vendors with produce, meats, baked goods, honey, and chocolates.  The Farmer’s Market is held behind Summit Coffee in downtown Davidson.

Josh’s Farmer’s Market:  Josh’s Farmer’s Market is in Mooresville, located on Williamson Road.  This market is open seven days a week.  Monday-Wednesday from 10am-6pm, Thursday-Saturday from 9am-6pm, and on Sunday from 10:30am-5pm.  Josh’s carries produce, eggs, seafood, plants, and pine needles.

Huntersville Farmer’s Market:  The Huntersville Farmer’s Market operates from June through October, on Maxwell Street, two blocks down from the town hall.  This market carries local produce, crafts, & local specialties.

Lincoln County Farmer’s Market:  The Lincoln County Farmer’s Market is hosted in two different locations.  The Lincolnton Market is on West Water Street and the Denver Market is at Rock Springs Elementary School.  The season opens for both markets on April 6th.  Vendors include fresh produce, plants, local meat, homemade soaps, baked goods, face painting.
